I canceled my paid plan with Mr. Transcription, but I still got billed and the money is still being withdrawn...

If this is the case, first check these three things:

1. Did you have multiple Mr. Transcription accounts ?
2. Did you cancel right before the renewal date, causing a mis- debit?
3. Is the request from Mr. Transcription correct?

1. Did Mr. Transcription have multiple accounts?

This is the most common reason why you may have been charged even after canceling your subscription.

I logged into Mr. Transcription and canceled my subscription...

When I logged into Mr. Transcription's account, I saw that I was properly on the "free plan" but there was still a deduction!

Or so I thought...

In fact, most people had multiple Mr. Transcription accounts .

1. A@mail (free account)
2. B@mail (account with paid plan)

Then, when I received an inquiry and investigated,

• I thought I had cancelled my A@mail (free account), but in fact I had gone through the withdrawal process.
• I had forgotten about B@mail (an account with a paid plan).

This is often the situation.

Please make sure you do not have multiple accounts.

To avoid confusion, Mr. Transcription asks that you refrain from owning multiple accounts, including both a free account and a paid account.

If you create multiple accounts in order to have multiple paid accounts, please be sure to manage your accounts carefully.

• *Possession of multiple free accounts is prohibited.
• *It is possible to have multiple paid accounts.

2. Did you cancel your contract right before the renewal date, causing a mis-debit?

With Mr. Transcription, on your renewal date, you will be charged for the next 30 days.

Even if the deduction occurs at exactly 12:00 on the renewal date, there may be a delay of several hours before the deduction notification is sent to your card.

If you do not need to renew on the next renewal date, please cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

After canceling, you can continue to use your contracted plan until your next renewal date.

We do not recommend cancelling close to the renewal date as there is a possibility that the next payment will be made.

3. Is the request from Mr. Transcription correct?

When I look at my credit card history and see a withdrawal of around 1,000 to 3,000 yen, I think, "This must be a withdrawal for Mr. Transcription's service fee!"

However, upon investigation, it turns out that the fee is not actually being debited from Mr. Transcription.

How to cancel Mr. Transcription
