What happens when you purchase a Mozikoshi-san plan?
We'll explain how "available" and "processing" time works, and what to do if you encounter an error.
Mozikoshi-san Usage Time by Membership Level
The available transcription time for each Mozikoshi-san membership level is as follows:
You can transcribe not only audio but also images.
- Non-member: 0 JPY
Audio: 3 minutes/day
Images: 3 images/day - Free Member: 0 JPY
Audio: 10 minutes/day
Images: 10 images/day - Basic Plan: 1,000 JPY/month
Audio: 24 hours/month (approx. 0.7 JPY per minute)
Images: 500 images/month - Value Plan: 2,000 JPY/month
Audio: 60 hours/month (approx. 0.6 JPY per minute)
Images: 1,200 images/month - Premium Plan: 3,000 JPY/month
Audio: 120 hours/month (approx. 0.4 JPY per minute)
Images: 3,000 images/month
What Happens After Purchasing Mozikoshi-san?

When I buy Mozikoshi-san, when does my transcription time get topped up?
Time is Added Immediately
When you purchase with a credit card or debit card, your "plan" and "available time" will be reflected within 1-3 minutes after purchase.
Example: Purchased Basic Plan
→ 24 hours of transcription time reflected in 1-3 minutes
If you close the payment screen midway or encounter a redirect error, the reflection may not be successful.
If you don't see your plan reflected several minutes after purchase, please contact us via inquiry. We will handle it manually. (In such cases, we will respond within 24 hours.)
For annual contracts, the plan will generally be activated within 24 hours after payment confirmation.
If your username and the remitter's name differ, we cannot confirm payment. Please be sure to notify us via inquiry.
*If you are in a hurry, we can activate the plan even before payment is confirmed if you provide the approximate payment date.
Expiration is 1 Month
The available time and image count for monthly members expire in 1 month.
The exact date is stated in your purchase confirmation email or in the email titled "Your Mozikoshi-san subscription renewal is approaching."
For annual contracts, the expiration is 1 year. The expiration date is stated in the "Payment confirmation complete" email and in your settings.
What Happens After the Expiration Date?
After the renewal date, your available time and image count will reset.
Any unused time or images from the previous month will not be carried over.
How Does Mozikoshi-san Consume Time?

Okay, so when I actually use Mozikoshi-san for transcription, how is the time consumed?
Understanding how time is consumed is crucial for effectively using Mozikoshi-san.
We'll explain in detail, so please use this as a reference.
When Transcription is Processed Successfully
Example: Basic Plan (24 hours)
Upload a 1-hour audio file and start transcription.
While the AI processes your audio, one hour of your transcription time is locked. This locked time appears at the top of your history as "Processing Time."
During this period, you can only upload an additional 3 hours of audio, which will be displayed at the top of your history as "Available Time."
Once the transcription is successfully completed, the following happens automatically:
- The transcription results are reflected in your history.
- One hour of time is consumed (the "Processing Time" is used).
What to Do if Transcription Fails
Example: Basic Plan (24 hours)
You upload a 1-hour audio file and start transcription.
If transcription is not completed after twice the audio file's length (in this case, 2 hours), it indicates an error.
Solution 1: Retry Transcription
If transcription doesn't complete after twice the audio file's length, you can retry.
Open your history, and you'll see a "Retry" button.
Alternatively, click "Edit" for the problematic file, and a "Try Transcribing Again" button will appear.
Click either option to attempt transcription again.
This allows you to resubmit the transcription request without re-uploading the file or consuming additional transcription time.
Solution 2: Delete the File
If you delete a file that resulted in an error, the locked "Processing Time" will be released.
※Please note that deleting a file across a renewal date will not restore the locked time. Avoid performing this action across renewal dates.
If an error occurs, please:
- Try retrying the transcription.
- If that doesn't work, then delete the file.
Important Notes on Retrying and Deleting
For files that do not contain transcribable speech (e.g., no human voice, or audio too noisy to understand),
Clicking the "Try Transcribing Again" button will consume transcription time.
Also, deleting such a file will not restore the transcription time.
Please be careful not to upload audio that is difficult for humans to understand.
[Audio that cannot be transcribed]
- Music with lyrics (songs)
- Audio where speech is drowned out by excessive noise
- Files with no audio
- Audio that is difficult for humans to hear clearly
The AI cannot transcribe such audio, no matter how many times you try.
Can I Cancel a Transcription in Progress?
I accidentally started transcribing the wrong file. Can I cancel it midway?

Cancellations are not possible, whether the transcription is in progress or already completed.
Transcription processing begins immediately once you click the transcription button. Please double-check that it's the correct file before pressing the transcription button.
Even if you accidentally process the same file multiple times or use the wrong file, the AI performs transcription from scratch every time you click the transcription button. Therefore, it will consume your transcription time.
I deleted the transcription history. Can I transcribe the same file again?

I deleted a previously transcribed file from the history. When I try to transcribe the same file again, I get a message:
"This file has already been uploaded. You can check the transcription results from your history."
And I can't transcribe it. What should I do?
【Solution】
Change the file name by at least one character before uploading and transcribing.
This error is designed to prevent accidental multiple transcriptions of the same file.
In the past, some users accidentally uploaded the same file multiple times, consuming their transcription time. To prevent such occurrences, we have implemented this restriction.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but if you wish to transcribe the same file again, please ensure the system does not recognize it as "the same file" by
changing at least one character in the file name before uploading and starting the transcription.
